It’s Mother’s Day

“If evolution really works, how come mothers only have 2 hands.” -Milton Berle

I want to start off by saying that I am blessed to have an amazing mother. Not only that, I am blessed to have an amazing mother-in-law. So many women today are battling the loss of the mothers, and I can celebrate having 2 of them. I know that won’t last forever, so I am thankful for today.

Sure, I am also battling today. I am reminded that I’m a mother too. I embraced them in my womb for a short time, and then they were sent home to God without ever having to know what pain, worry, or heartache feels like.

I can’t wait to meet them. I bet they’re awesome.

No self-pity today, though! There is so much to look forward to!

My husband and I have getting caught up on all the requirements before getting another group, which the state keeps adding onto every year it seems. Life has been overloaded with work for both of us, and finishing up the trainings required have taken longer than expected. But we’re getting there.

More posts to come as this process continues.

You’re such a good woman! You’re good for those children coming into your home and they are blessed for having you in their lives.
    Lots of love,
    Crystal
